Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 22 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred. - Patient ratio experience: 1:1. - Experience in community hospital settings preferred. - Travel experience required. Description: Schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Includes one 8-hour shift every other week from 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Weekend call requirements are included. Call is required one day a week and one weekend every four weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs. Floating within the facility is required, as well as to the Main OR as needed. Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit, followed by a review by management for final decision. Request time off is limited to seven days maximum. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period. If two major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work at least two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time. If compliance is not met, the push back is two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Compliance with all requirements is essential for acceptance and assignment readiness. RTO requests must be finalized at the time of submission. Interdisciplinary support is provided, and candidates should be familiar with cardiovascular/thoracic procedures and robotics. Experience with specific cardiothoracic procedures is preferred. The unit handles various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
