Job Title: Pediatric CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Pediatric CVOR Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: - BLS - NBSTSAS Must-Have: - NBSTA certification must be in hand to submit - First-time travelers accepted - Call required Description: Candidates should be prepared to work in the general OR starting at 3 PM. Blocked scheduling is available. Daily average surgical case volume is 6. Unit information includes labor and delivery with typical OB cases like Cesarean sections and dilation procedures. Non-OB high risk cases include Accreta, laparoscopic ectopic, and cystoscopy. Travelers will be expected to take CVOR call. If there are no CV cases or if a CV case finishes early, travelers will assist in the main OR. Experience with labor and delivery, sterilization, scrub, high-level disinfection, and aseptic technique is required. Decontamination and scope/probe reprocessing experience is preferred. Travelers must be able to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities. Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary support services such as physical therapy and pharmacy are essential. Job responsibilities will include providing surgical services across various specialties. Travelers must have the ability to work in a high-paced surgical environment while maintaining patient safety and care standards.
