Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBSTSA, NCCT Must-Have: - Experience with various procedures including general, robotic, and orthopedic surgeries - Ability to float within facility as needed Description: Diagnoses include but are not limited to general, ob/gyn, plastic, ENT, eye, cardiovascular/thoracic, laparoscopic, urology, robotic, orthopedic, neuro/spine, bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes. Weekend coverage required every other weekend. Call shifts are required, averaging 10-12 shifts per 6-week schedule. Floating within the facility and to nearby facilities is necessary. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time. If not compliant in time, there will be a two-week delay due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule. Travelers are expected to work major holidays if they fall during the assignment period. Specific holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Full compliance is required to start on time; all compliance documents are due prior to the start of the assignment. Experience with charting systems is required, preferably Epic. Skills in various surgical processes and equipment handling are essential.
