Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:45 - 17:15 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBSTSA, NCCT Must-Have: - 1 year of relevant experience - Ability to float within the facility/scope of practice Description: Diagnoses include but are not limited to general, obstetrics/gynecology, plastic, ear/nose/throat, ocular, cardiovascular/thoracic, laparoscopic, urology, robotic, orthopedic, neuro/spine, and various endoscopic procedures. Every other weekend coverage is required. On-call shifts of 10-12 per 6-week schedule are expected. Floating to other facilities may be required as needed. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Once a candidate has signed, the hiring manager has 48 hours to review the profile and determine if the unit, schedule, and expertise are a fit. Maximum requested time off is 7 days. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it falls within their assignment period. If two major holidays fall during their assignment, they must work both. If three major holidays fall during their assignment, they are expected to work two of those holidays. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, the start may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Various required skills include abdominal surgeries, robotic surgeries, and various endoscopic procedures. Experience with high-level disinfection, sterilization, and surgical procedures is preferred. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations. Compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory. Modules may be completed during orientation. All required documentation must be submitted prior to the start date.
