Shift Type: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating call requirements (one weekday per month and one weekend per month)
Hours per Week: 40
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile field during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
- Assist surgical team with instrumentation and supplies during open heart and endovascular procedures
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment and instruments
- Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to ensure patient safety
- Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout procedures
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Proficiency in sterile technique and instrument handling
- Familiarity with endovascular instruments and equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
