Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience in cardiovascular surgery License: Valid state compact license required Certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA Must-Have: Must have cardiovascular thoracic and vascular experience Description: Travel experience required. This role requires expertise in cardiac and vascular procedures. Expected patient ratios are 1:3. On-call duty is required during nights, weekends, and holidays. Weekends are not mandatory. No floating between units is required. The facility has a total of 379 staffed beds and operates as a Level II Trauma Center. Staff are required to adhere to dress code policies, with specific colors designated for licensed and unlicensed personnel uniforms. Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces. Candidates must possess skills in various surgical techniques including, but not limited to, aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty, and coronary artery bypass grafting. Familiarity with sterilization processes, isolation precautions, and the use of surgical instruments is essential. Candidates should be prepared to manage diverse patient ages and diagnoses. Reference checks and background verification are part of the compliance process prior to the start date. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Failure to comply with floating requirements may result in contract termination. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront.
