• Position: CST - CVOR
• Location: Asheville
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 4x10
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2140 to $2340

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room for surgical procedures
• Set up sterile fields, instruments, supplies, and specialized CVOR equipment
• Assist surgeons during open-heart, vascular, and other cardiovascular procedures
• Anticipate surgical team needs and pass instruments efficiently throughout procedures
• Ensure proper handling and accountability of surgical instruments and supplies
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to facility policies
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control standards
• Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, perfusionists, and anesthesia staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Surgical Tech experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Experience assisting with cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
