Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 6:30 - 19:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years experience, Level 1 Trauma Center experience required License: Must be in hand prior to start date Certifications: BCLS NBSTSAS Must-Have: Receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation Experience with various surgical cases including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, cardiac surgeries, and thoracic procedures Experience with vascular and thoracic surgeries Description: Are you able to receive lines from perfusion and prep them for cannulation? First-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 trauma experience. Call requirement is 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule. Travel experience is required. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Candidates must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Candidates should have previous experience in the following surgical procedures: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair Atherectomy Atrial Septal defect repair Cardiomyoplasty Carotid Endarterectomy Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Endovascular Aneurysm Repair Endovascular Aortic Repair Femoral popliteal bypass graft Laparoscopic cardiac surgery Mitral valve replacement Pericardial window Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Heart and lung transplant Valve replacement Aortic dissection Interdisciplinary support experience is a plus. Special procedures and unit details are inclusive of experiences with heart and lung transplants. Preferred candidates should have training in angioplasty/stenting and VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery). Please ensure you meet the qualifications before applying.
