Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with strong Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience to join a fast-paced acute care facility. The ideal candidate will be confident in supporting a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures and thrive in a high-volume operating room environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during CABG, valve replacement, and other cardiac surgeries.
- Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and organization of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and provide intraoperative support.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the facility's electronic medical record system.
