Job Title: CVOR Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (0630-1700) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA Must-Have: Must be able to single scrub cardiac cases. Able to scrub in main operating room for ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gynecological cases on days with fewer cardiac procedures. Description: The position involves working in the cardiovascular operating room. Call is required and every other weekend is necessary. The cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during the 13-week assignment. The charting system used is Cerner. No BSN is required for this role. The tech will provide support in an acute care setting. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
