Job Details

- Schedule: 4x10
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $1700 to $1900
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
- Establish and maintain sterile fields throughout surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and operating room staff by passing instruments and supplies during procedures
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to facility protocols
- Clean, organize, and restock surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist with patient positioning and operating room setup
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and surgical standards
- Maintain accurate documentation related to surgical procedures and supplies
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Tech experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operating room environment
