Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RRT License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Proficient in Adult Critical Care Work settings - Experience with Extubation, nasal airway placements, and suctioning - Skilled in pulmonary hygiene and sputum specimen collection - Experience administering various respiratory medications - Knowledge of aerosol setups and nebulization techniques - Proficient in using BiPAP and CPAP machines - Ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and wean from mechanical ventilation - Trauma Level 1 experience Description: The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical care to adult patients. Responsible for performing assessments and interventions for respiratory issues. Must demonstrate proficiency in various respiratory therapeutic modalities. Capable of delivering nebulized medications and managing airway issues. Experience in operating and troubleshooting ventilation devices is essential. Role may involve floating to other units as needed based on patient care requirements. Charting experience with electronic health records is necessary. Must adhere to organizational policies and care standards.
