Job Title: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with emergency department experience. License: North Carolina RRT license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: Level IV NICU experience. Experience with high-frequency jet ventilator, oscillating ventilator, and pediatric cardiac anomalies. Description: Position available for a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience. Candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Weekend shifts are required, totaling 6 shifts within the schedule. The schedule is published in 6-week blocks. On-call requirements do not apply for this role. Strong preference for candidates with RRT certification, though CRT candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis if all other skill and experience requirements are met. Daily census includes a diverse patient age group from neonates to adolescents. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams including respiratory services. Candidates should be familiar with a range of respiratory therapy skills and treatments. Attendance and punctuality are essential, with up to three absences allowed per 13-week contract. Compliance with required documentation and deadlines is mandatory.
