▪ Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
● Department Information:
· Average patients/day? 300+
· Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 yrs Respiratory Therapy
· Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
· Adult Care, NICU (no pediatric)
● Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
· BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team requirements)
· RRT or CRT
· NC Licensure
● Skills required:
· Critical Care
· CVICU
· NICU
· ED
· Progressive Care
· All Floor Therapies
● Support within the Department:
· Respiratory Care Leadership and staff
● Technology/Equipment:
· EMR: EPIC
· Department specific Equipment: Servo ventilators (to include I, U, and Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, bubble cpap
● Floating:
· Will be required to float per Region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
▪ Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any Freestanding ED within Region, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children's Hospital)
▪ If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
