- Registry Personnel must bring a state or federal issued identification to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
- Every other weekend required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures per physician orders and facility protocols
- Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway management equipment
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and related diagnostics
- Assess patient respiratory status and respond to clinical changes across all patient populations
- Set up and maintain oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory modalities
- Document treatments, patient responses, and clinical findings accurately in the EMR
- Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and rapid response events as required
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team on respiratory care plans
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Active state Respiratory Therapist licence (Virginia RRT/CRT) current and in good standing
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association) current
- ACLS certification current or ability to obtain prior to start
