Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) Profession: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year preferred License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS Must-Have: Pediatric and Neonatal experience required Description: We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist with RRT or CRT certification. A background in pediatrics and NICU is required. The position involves working three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with some weekdays and weekends required. Float within the facility is necessary as needed. The respiratory therapist will provide care in critical care, general care, as well as adults and/or pediatrics. The ideal candidate will possess certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NALS for pediatrics. Experience in adult critical care is preferred. Previous charge experience is a plus. The candidate will need to be adept at handling a variety of respiratory cases, including but not limited to respiratory distress syndrome, tracheostomy management, and bronchodilator therapy. Participation in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports is also expected. Key skills include the ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and assist in intubation when needed. Additional requirements include a strong foundation in interpreting arterial blood gases and managing ventilation strategies. We welcome first-time travelers, but a minimum of 1 year experience is required. Weekend and holiday requirements must be acknowledged. The candidate should be willing to adapt to the facility's needs and work in varying patient age groups: neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
