Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, focused on activities of daily living and functional mobility.
- Assess residents’ abilities, implement treatment plans, and adjust interventions to improve independence and safety.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in the chart according to facility policies.
- Monitor resident response to therapy, communicate findings to the care team, and modify plans to optimize outcomes.
- Prepare and organize therapy equipment and spaces; maintain infection control and safety standards.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation colleagues, nursing staff, residents, and families to support goals and ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
- Active Montana COTA license or eligibility to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Graduation from an accredited OTA program (associates degree or higher)
- 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to provide therapy services in a day shift within a SNF environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Current ability to travel for a 13-week assignment and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
