Key Responsibilities- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications- Active COTA certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice in Washington, DC
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
- Minimum 30-hour weekly availability during day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse patient populations
