Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy treatment services to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support residents' functional independence and rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
Required Qualifications- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Kansas
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Ability to fulfill a 35-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a long-term care or post-acute rehabilitation environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
