Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) Travel

Contract | Travel | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 32 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 14-Week Assignment

• Provide occupational therapy assistant services within an inpatient rehabilitation facility setting under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Treat adult and geriatric patients recovering from conditions including CVA, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
• Utilize standard rehabilitation equipment as well as advanced technology including Ekso NR and REAL VR systems
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the facility's electronic health record system
• Support patients in regaining functional independence through therapeutic activities and daily living skill practice
• Maintain a patient caseload ratio of approximately 6 patients per therapist

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification in good standing
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience as a COTA
• Experience working with adult patient populations
• Ability to work within an inpatient rehabilitation environment

• Experience in orthopedic and/or neurological rehabilitation settings
• Familiarity with treating diagnoses such as CVA and amputee populations
• Prior experience with advanced rehabilitation technology and equipment

• Work in a specialized inpatient rehabilitation facility featuring high-tech therapy devices, dedicated therapy gyms, and a patient-centered environment designed to support meaningful recovery
• Gain experience in a structured, well-equipped rehab setting with a consistent schedule and guaranteed weekly hours
