Key Responsibilities- Implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising OT's plan of care
- Accurately and timely document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Assist with education for patients and their families regarding therapy goals and techniques
- Communicate patient status updates and changes to the supervising occupational therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols in accordance with state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license or demonstrated ability to obtain licensure
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Ability to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
