Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Inpatient / Med Surg

Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy assistant services in an acute care / med surg inpatient setting
- Support patients in inpatient rehabilitation on an occasional basis
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and discharge planning
Required Qualifications- Current COTA certification through NBCOT
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Oklahoma
- Experience working in an acute care or inpatient hospital setting
- Ability to work a schedule that includes weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation
- Familiarity with med surg patient populations and acute care workflows
