Key Responsibilities- Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional independence and rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications- Active COTA licensure or certification in the state of California
- Current NBCOT certification in good standing
- Experience providing occupational therapy assistance in a clinical or facility setting
- Ability to meet a 35-hour weekly guarantee commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility environment
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic health record systems
