Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of occupational therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Support residents in developing, recovering, or maintaining daily living and work skills
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA licensure or eligibility in the state of Virginia
• Active NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
• Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract therapy experience
• Familiarity with SNF documentation and Medicare compliance requirements
