Key Responsibilities- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care to support functional independence in daily living activities
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications- Active COTA licensure in the state of Illinois
- Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
- Availability to work day shift hours with a 35-hour weekly guarantee
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
