Key Responsibilities- Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising OT's plan of care
- Accurately and timely document patient progress
- Assist with patient and family education throughout the care process
- Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in compliance with state and federal regulations
