Key Responsibilities- Implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising OT's plan of care
- Accurately and timely document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Assist with education for patients and their families regarding therapy goals and home programs
- Communicate patient status updates and changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols in accordance with state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements for occupational therapy practice
