Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) – Long Term Care (LTC) $$SN$$
Location: Abilene, Texas
Shift: Days – 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week guaranteed)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Duties
• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to improve motor skills, coordination, and functional independence
• Provide ADL training including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility tasks
• Instruct patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment use and home program strategies
• Monitor and document patient progress, behavioral changes, and safety concerns
• Report clinical updates to supervising OT for treatment plan adjustments
• Prepare treatment areas, maintain equipment, and support therapy operations
