Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - $956 to $1,156 per week in Beacon, NY

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Beacon, NY. Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide restorative and maintenance therapy to patients to improve their ability to perform activities of daily living. This position requires documentation of progress, collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, and adherence to facility and regulatory policies. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active New York State COTA license or certification required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to complete patient evaluations, implement treatment plans, and document according to facility standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with restorative nursing programs and ADL training.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems used in post-acute care.
• Previous travel or contract therapy experience preferred.
