We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a hospital in Stockton, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining skills for everyday life through restorative and rehabilitative OT services in center and home settings. You will implement plans of care established by the Occupational Therapist, collaborate with the rehabilitation team, and document patient progress to maximize independence and safety.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active California COTA license or state license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience administering treatment programs, obtaining vital signs, and performing range of motion and strength testing.
  • Experience working in hospital or skilled nursing environments preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel COTA experience.
  • Experience providing home health or community-based OT services.
  • Familiarity with documentation systems used in acute care and post-acute settings.


Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 0800-1600.
  • Scheduled Hours Per Week: 40.
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts.
