Minimum Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant education program (ACOTE accredited).
• Current state licensure/certification in North Carolina required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 6 months of occupational therapy assistant experience, including exposure to rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience providing care in home health or community settings preferred.
• Ability to document clinical notes, prepare progress reports, and participate in care coordination and discharge planning as required.

• Position Summary: Assist licensed Occupational Therapist in administration of occupational therapy programs in compliance with state practice acts and company policies.
• Primary Responsibilities: Implement therapy services delegated by the OT, fabricate/adapt assistive devices, instruct patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment, document patient progress, and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Supervision Level: Moderate supervision by licensed Occupational Therapist.
