Job Overview
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract rehabilitation assignment. The COTA will support occupational therapy services aimed at improving patient independence in daily living and functional tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans
Provide therapeutic activities to improve patient function
Document patient progress and responses
Educate patients on exercises and adaptive techniques
Support ADL training and mobility interventions
Collaborate with rehab and clinical teams
Ensure compliance with clinical standards
Maintain accurate documentation

Start Date: 06/29/2026
End Date: 09/26/2026
Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday
Contract Length: ~13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
Requirements
Active COTA license (state required)
Graduate of accredited OTA program
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Rehab/SNF experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times
Compliance with onboarding and health requirements
