Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a travel assignment in a rehabilitation setting. This role involves supporting occupational therapists in delivering therapeutic care to patients recovering from injury, illness, or disability.
The COTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, tracking patient progress, and helping patients improve functional independence in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist occupational therapists in patient treatment sessions
Implement individualized therapy plans under supervision
Support patients with exercises and rehabilitation activities
Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
Educate patients on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
Requirements
Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license
Ability to work across a 7-day rotating schedule as needed
