Job Overview
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract rehabilitation assignment. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support patient rehabilitation and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans
Support patients in improving daily living and functional skills
Document patient progress and therapy activities
Use adaptive equipment and therapeutic techniques as directed
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and care teams
Provide patient and caregiver education
Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Start Date: 06/15/2026
End Date: 09/14/2026
Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday
Contract Length: ~13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
Requirements
Active COTA license (state required)
Graduate of accredited OTA program
NBCOT certification preferred
Experience in rehab/SNF settings preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times
Compliance with onboarding and health requirements
