We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in San Leandro, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining skills needed for daily living. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active California COTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans under supervision of a licensed OT.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment, and mobility programs.
  • Prior travel or contract COTA experience preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
  • Shift Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
  • Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
  • May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
