We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Springfield, OH. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain skills needed for everyday life across a large campus setting that includes a skilled nursing unit and an attached assisted living facility. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
  • Active Ohio COTA license or state license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) environments is required.
  • Familiarity with Net Health and PCC electronic medical records is required.
  • Ability to meet productivity expectations: 90–92% for COTA (client requirement).
  • Ability to collaborate with onsite therapy team including full-time OTs, PTAs, and SLPs.
  • OT available for supervision as needed (client staffing pattern includes full-time OT coverage M–F and additional OT coverage twice weekly).
  • Preferred: prior experience in campus-style settings that include both SNF and assisted living. (Preferred)

  • Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility on a large campus with an attached Assisted Living Facility.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Schedule: Flexible with days; client will consider 5x8s or 4x10s.
  • EMR Systems: Net Health, PCC.
  • Productivity Requirement: 90–92% for COTA, 85% for OT.
