We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a hospital in Frederick, MD. Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
  • Current state COTA licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maryland prior to start of assignment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hospital acute care experience required; experience treating orthopedics, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care caseloads preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience providing morning ADLs, one-on-one treatment, and facilitating group treatment in an inpatient setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment and maintain documentation per facility standards.
  • Preferred: Experience across the lifespan and commitment to ongoing clinical education.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital (Inpatient Acute Care)
  • Shift Name: Days
  • Shift Details: Monday - Friday, Day shift. Example schedule: 07:00 - 15:00 (5x8).
  • Weekend Requirement: One weekend day per month.
  • Float Requirement: Candidate may be required to float to other hospital units as needed.
