Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - $1,136 to $1,336 per week in Arlington Heights, IL

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Arlington Heights, IL. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active Illinois COTA state license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans developed by a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Client notes indicate availability for a schedule of 4 to 5 days per week and a 32-hour weekly guarantee.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with geriatric populations and post-acute rehab settings preferred.
• Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days, 4x8 or 5x8 schedule as indicated by the client.
• Workdays: Five days per week noted in client communications; schedule may also reflect four days per week in some rotations.
• 32-hour weekly guarantee.
• Candidate may be expected to float to other local facilities as needed.
