Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract assignment. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans that help patients improve their functional abilities, regain independence, and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills and functional independence
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Ensure compliance with all professional standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, outpatient, acute care, or long-term care experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and as part of a multidisciplinary team
