Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide overnight patient care in a skilled nursing facility. The CNA will support residents with daily living needs while ensuring safety, comfort, and responsiveness throughout the night shift.
This role requires strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) during night shift hours
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to call lights promptly
- Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers
- Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and quiet environment overnight
- Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow infection control and facility safety procedures
- Support resident comfort and dignity throughout the shift
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-specific)
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
- CPR certification preferred or required per facility
- Ability to work overnight shift (11:00 PM 07:00 AM)
- Strong reliability and attention to detail
- Prior long-term care experience preferred
