Job Overview
We are seeking a Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (T-CNA) for a 13-week contract assignment in Belen, New Mexico. The CNA will provide direct patient care and support residents in a skilled nursing facility while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity in daily living activities.
This travel assignment requires adaptability, strong patient care skills, and the ability to integrate quickly into a new clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning
Maintain clean, safe, and supportive patient environments
Record and document care provided accurately
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Work collaboratively with nursing and healthcare teams
Ensure respectful and compassionate patient care at all times
Requirements
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state or compact eligible)
Completion of state-approved CNA training program
Current CPR certification (if required by facility standards)
Minimum 6 months 1 year CNA experience preferred in skilled nursing or long-term care
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly to travel assignments and new facilities
