Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an 11-week contract assignment in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The CNA will provide direct patient care and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality resident care. This role requires strong attention to patient needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support mobility and safe patient transfers
Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient environments
Provide emotional support and compassionate care to residents
Follow care plans as directed by licensed nursing staff
Ensure adherence to facility policies and infection control standards
Requirements
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Understanding of basic clinical and safety procedures
Ability to work assigned shifts consistently and reliably
