Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) in Des Moines, IA and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in a hospital setting. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture crucial data of the heart and vascular system and support patient care throughout procedural workflow.




What You'll Need:


  • Active ARRT or CCI/RCIS certification required. RCES or RCIS also accepted.
  • BLS (AHA) required.
  • Minimum 24 months of recent Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.
  • Must be able to scrub independently and proficiently.
  • Experience with structural heart procedures highly preferred.
  • Peripheral vascular experience preferred.
  • Interventional Radiology and EP experience preferred.
  • Travel assignment experience within the previous 18 months required.
  • Driver’s license and documentation of required certifications as listed above required.
  • Willingness to take call and participate in holiday coverage as required by unit staffing.
  • Must be willing to float across hospital campuses within the Des Moines area when needed.
  • Profile requirements: work history/resume must document 24 months of Cath Lab experience; discipline-specific skills checklist required; professional reference from a charge/supervisor/manager within 24 months preferred.
  • State licensure when required.



Assignment Details


  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Days.
  • Shift schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 4x10s Monday–Friday with a rotating weekday off; 40 hours per week.
  • Call requirements: holiday rotation; one night of call per week and every third weekend (7:00 p.m. Friday through 7:00 a.m. Monday for weekend call rotation).
  • Floating: required to float across Des Moines hospital campuses to like units.
  • Assignment duration: 13-week travel assignment.
