Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT-CI or RCIS certification for a 13-week travel contract in Altamonte Springs, FL.

Details

  • Cath Lab setting with float to pre/post procedural area as needed
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with alternating weekday off
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekend coverage includes STEMI call and elective cases if added
  • On-call required — minimum 14 days per 6-week period, including 2 weekends
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • At least one of the following certifications required: ARRT-CI or RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
  • RCIS, RT(R), or scrub experience preferred
  • Current BLS required
  • License required if applicable
  • Must provide a copy of COVID vaccination card; two doses of COVID-19 vaccine required or an approved declination

Additional Information

  • Performs cardiac catheterization procedures including STEMI coverage and elective cases
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
  • Former permanent employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
  • COVID-19 booster is not currently required, but two doses of the vaccine or an approved declination are mandatory
