Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active Compact or State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology - Ability to scrub procedures - On-call expectation with timely response Description: Cath Lab Radiologist Technologist position available. Working business hours are Monday to Friday from 0700 to 1730. Day off during the week will rotate each week. There is an expectation of on-call support, with 8 to 10 days per month, typically one night per week and one weekend every three weeks. Call times include Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings. Team comprises 2 RNs and 1 Radiologist Technologist. The Cath Lab provides scrubs and lead aprons for cases. A response within 30 minutes is required for STEMI Alerts. An average of 8-10 procedures are performed daily across 2 Cath Labs. The team rotates into the EP Lab and averages 6-8 STEMI cases per month. Technology and skills utilized include Shock wave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, and Acist Contrast injector. Device implants involve both pacemakers and ICDs (single, dual, Bi-V Leads), along with peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures. Cross-training to EP for ablations is available, EP experience preferred. Doctors utilize both radial and groin access techniques. Travelers must meet specific requirements including experience and certifications. Submission of references is necessary.
