Description: Under the general direction of the physician, assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitor the par level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Previous experience in a cardiovascular lab or interventional radiology department required. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
