Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year recent/strong cath lab experience required; will accept first-time travelers License: Active MD or Compact License required at the time of submission Certifications: ARRT-R and/or RCIS, BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Must have ability to float within the facility and no restrictions on floating Description: This position requires working in the Cath Lab. The shift will consist of 4x10-hour days from 07:00 to 17:30. On-call scheduling is required, including weekends and holidays. Approximately eight weeknights and four weekend 24-hour shifts on-call are expected. Candidates must have experience in cardiac procedures, including implant closures and stent placements. Skills include diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures. Candidates must be comfortable with room circulation and maintaining sterile fields. A commitment to adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols is essential. This role involves the interpretation of dysrhythmias and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. A strong background in both right and left heart catheterizations is required. Travelers must be prepared for compliance requirements and background checks as part of the hiring process. Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Extensions may be possible, but travelers must take a six-month break after a contract and extension.
