Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 7A-5:30P Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: CO Fluro license (if not holding ARRT (R)) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, ARRT (R) Must-Have: Solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience, EMR/Equipment EPIC Description: Hiring process includes profile review and an interview with unit manager. Week of orientation requires clinicians to be in state. The unit has 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid lab. The average number of cases per day ranges from 10-20. Common diagnoses include STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial fibrillation/flutter. Job duties consist of assisting in the scrub, monitor, and circulating roles in the department. Call requirements are 1-2 weeknights per week and 2 weekends per 6-week pay cycle. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment. Shifts may require floating within the department in case of extreme need. Response time for call is 30 minutes. Unit-specific orientation is provided. Charting system utilized is EPIC. The care setting is acute.
