Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) and a valid state fluoroscopy license (if applicable) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Must-Have: Solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician experience; EMR experience with EPIC Description: The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles in the cardiac department. The facility operates with 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid lab. The average number of cases per day ranges from 10 to 20. Call requirements include 1-2 times during the week and 2 times during a 6-week pay cycle. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Floating may be required within the department in cases of extreme need. All clinicians must dress according to the department's specific dress code. Orientation will be unit and department-specific to ensure proper acclimation. The primary patient conditions include STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial fibrillation/flutter. The position requires familiarity with working in a high-pressure environment and demonstrating solid technical skills.
