Join a travel opportunity as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) in Rochester, NY and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing a new location. Provide technical and procedural support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment and assist physicians and Cath lab personnel to capture critical images and patient data.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI/PTCA, stent placement, device closure, IABP placement/removal, and recognition of life‑threatening arrhythmias.
- Proficiency in sterile technique, scrub and circulator roles, equipment setup, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) is preferred; ARRT R preferred but RCIS acceptable if ARRT R is not held. Note: client allows only one RCIS on call at a time.
- State licensure as required.
Minimum Requirements / Client Specific Requirements:
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R) preferred; RCIS accepted as noted.
- Required experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience in a hospital.
- Skills: Diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional cardiac cath lab experience, PCI/PTCA, cardiac stent placement, cardiac implant/closure device experience, IABP placement/removal, rotablator atherectomy experience, left and right heart catheterization, recognition of life‑threatening arrhythmias, scrub and circulator duties, sterile technique, equipment setup.
- Must be able to participate in on‑call rotation as required by the unit.
- Unit accepts first‑time travelers.
- Locals accepted only if residence is greater than 50 miles from facility.

- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift schedule: Day 4x10-hour, 07:00 – 17:30.
- Hours: M–F, 07:00–17:30 with on‑call requirements.
